De Rich Annotator System

Literary texts uploaded to the Rich Annotator System must have first of all a data page with relevant data and eventually a short description. The title of the data page is the title of the literary work itself.

The data page contains:

 1. An infobox with essential data and a link to the full text (if available);
 2. A short description (optional);
 3. Links to readings refering to the text, or to images, audio and video connected to the text;
 4. The category tag.

The data page layout is hence as follows:

Wiki markup or text in the page Description
1. {{Infobox-fr
The Infobox template creates a floating box, which can contain an image and basic data.
2. Free text (optional) You can add a short text that describes the work. General formatting rules apply.
3. Referencia calls the references in Hungarian. Automatic references, created with the help of correct category and semantic annotation use, are called with this tag.
4. Use Olvasmányok instead of Textes for Hungarian texts. Categorize the page as a text.

Infobox

This is the first element of a text's data page. It is created with an infobox template.

For example, the first lines of the page named Médua are as follows:

Which gives:

Médua
Maurice Careme Medua.png
Auteur Maurice Carême
Titre Médua
Éditeur La Renaissance du livre
Pays Belgique
Genre roman
Date de publication 1976

You should start the infobox with the {{Infobox-fr line if you want to have an infobox in French, and with the tag.

Parameter names are always in English, but parameter values can be added in any language. Actually, if you use the French Infobox ({{Infobox-fr), you will probably want values to be in French.

Parameters

The following parameters can be added to an infobox. All parameters are optional. You can use text formatting markup and links. The order of parameters does not have any effect on the infobox layout. If you need other parameters, please contact administators.

Parameter name Parameter name rendered in French Parameter name rendered in Hungarian Notes
title no rendered text no rendered text If omitted, the page title is used. The title is in top middle of the infobox in bold characters.
image no rendered text no rendered text The name of an image without the File: or Fichier: part.
author Auteur Szerző You should use the "Work of" property in the link (as above), see Semantic links.

Short description

After the infobox, you can add a short description of the text.

Links to readings, images, audio and video

Automatic reference lists are called with the help of or Referencia tag. In the case of texts, you don't need to add any parameters.

If there are links with "Refers to" (or "Fait référence à") property pointing to the page, they are automatically listed.

 • If you call the tag, links are listed after this text: "Les lectures suivantes font référence à ce texte :".
 • If you call the Referencia tag, links are listed after this text: "Az alábbi olvasatok utalnak erre a szövegre:".

If there are links with "Linked to" (or "En lien avec") property pointing to the page, they are automatically listed.

 • If you call the tag, links are listed after this text: "Images, vidéos ou présentations en lien avec ce texte :".
 • If you call the Referencia tag, links are listed after this text: "A szöveg az alábbi képekhez, videókhoz, prezentációkhoz köthető:".

You only have to use the reference tag once; the two types of links are called with the same tag.

Category tag

 • for French texts.
 • for Hungarian texts.

Full text

Full texts should be uploaded to separate pages. Data pages should only contain link to the full text. The link is added in the infobox (see above).

Do not categorize the full text page as a text page. If you categorize the full text page, the categorization will be doubled for the same text, and the system will recognize the text data page and the full text page as two different works.

Creating a new page for full text

To upload the legally accessible full text of a work, create a new page. It is recommended to use a subpage of the text data page for the full text.

Slashes (/) within a page name break the page into parent and subpages, recursively, e.g.:

You can link directly to any page’s subpage using the normal double square brackets notation, by providing the full name – including the slash(es) and the individual subpage name(s).

It is recommended to start the full text page with a <div> element containing basic information about the text.

For example, Madame Bovary/Texte intégral begins with this <div> element:

<div style="text-align: center; border: 1px solid #aaa;">
Gustave Flaubert<br>
Madame Bovary (1857)<br>
<small>Louis Conard, 1910 (p. ix-481).</small>
</div>

Which gives:

Gustave Flaubert
Madame Bovary (1857)
Louis Conard, 1910 (p. ix-481).

Note that you should not annotate the link which points to the author. Indeed, the "Work of" ("Oeuvre de") property is already added to the text data page, and if you add this property to the full text subpage, the semantic annotation will be doubled, and the system will recognize the text data page and the full text page as two different works of the given author.

Full text divided into multiple parts

You may create multiple subpages for the full text, e.g. Du côté de chez Swann/Partie 1, Du côté de chez Swann/Partie 2 and Du côté de chez Swann/Partie 3.

In this case, you can assemble these parts in a single full text page without having to copy the whole text, with the transclusion function. For example, the page Du côté de chez Swann/Texte intégral assembles the three parts with the help of the transclusion markup. For more details, see Partial transclusion.

Add links in the full text

You can add links that point to readings refering to the text. Hence not only the reading can point to the text (data page) (with the "Refers to" property), but also the original (full) text can point to the reading, with the "Cited by" ("Cité par") property.

For example, the reading Du vrai, du beau, des notes - à propos d'une note de Chateaubriand (Claude Pérez) cites Chateaubriand's Génie du christianisme. The reading points not only to the text data page (with the "Refers to" property annotation), but also to the exact point of the quoted excerpt in the full text (without the "Refers to" property annotation) with the help of anchors (see also Readings). The given excerpt points in return from the full text to the reading with the "Cited by" property annotation:
